Expert Witness Services

BCRC provide comprehensive expert witness reports for clients, contractors and designers across a wide range of disputes that involve construction quality and materials performance. We are thoroughly knowledgeable in all of the major construction materials used in buildings and infrastructure including concrete, tiling and waterproofing, and coatings and finishes. We understand our duties and obligations to the Court and are experienced in providing expert evidence under cross examination.

In commercial infrastructure projects and strata-managed residential developments, addressing building defects and structural durability issues can be complex and costly. Issues such as water leaks, efflorescence, corrosion, concrete deterioration, cracks, magnesite, or non-compliant cladding, require appropriate remediation practices that present a number of technical and financial challenges.

Whether it is a newly completed building, or an older apartment complex, remedial works and repairs are necessary to restore structural integrity back to the asset or prevent further deterioration.
